Lucrecia Iruela is the European trademark attorney at Raj Abhyanker P.C. She is a Clients Relations Attorney in the United States, and supports our international clientele by communicating with applicants from South America.Prior to working at our firm, Lucrecia worked as an associate in various areas of law, specializing in Intellectual Property Law, although also including Entertainment Law and Corporate Law at one of the top law firms in Spain, the law firm of Cremades & Calvo Sotelo. She also worked as legal counsel for independent production companies and television stations in Los Angeles and in Spain. Lucrecia also has involvement in Immigration Law as an Intern with the USD Immigration Clinic.
In early 2011, she spoke at the highly regarded International Trademark Association (INTA) conference on, “Problems that Foreign Madrid Applicants Face when Filing Trademarks in the U.S.” Following her presentation, she earned the Second Annual Scholarship Symposium from the INTA due to her in depth analysis of the complications foreign applicants deal with when using the Madrid system, receiving dialog and leading discussion with academics in the IP community.
Lucrecia holds a J.D. from the University Complutense of Madrid, a top-ranked law school in Spain. She also has her L.L.M. from the University of San Diego School of Law where she received an Academic Merit Scholarship while studying Intellectual Property. In Madrid, Spain, Lucrecia earned her M.B.A. in Media Business from the Instituto de Empresa, and her Masters in New Tech and the Internet Law from Centro Universitario Villanueva.
